• This unique 24" x 36" Collector's Edition limited print features all of Stirring Images' famous, Blue Jay Baseball concepts in one print.

  All Stirring Images original concept imagery is drawn by hand using only graphite and colour pencil.  Created to share our love for Canada's only MLB team, this limited edition piece includes the original 9 Innings and the special StirringJay Baseball Logo displayed over the 10th Inning background image.

  Each of the 350 canvas prints is personally signed and numbered by renowned Canadian realist, Doug Comeau.

• Stirring Images uses an UltraChrome HDR 10-Colour ink system and the latest generation of pigment ink technology.

  The elegantly textured 23 mil canvas is an acid-free, lignin-free heavyweight cotton-poly blend and features a semi-gloss satin surface.  The canvas base is enhanced with elastic polymers providing high tensile strength and flexibility for gallery wrap stretching (not included) without cracking.

  This piece ships rolled and can be easily displayed as is.  If desired, most local framing shops can mount it on a stretcher frame for a small fee.

  Have you ever wondered where those new Blue Jays come from every year? Well, wonder no more. Tireless effort by the team at Stirring Images has revealed the answer.

  This image features a blue jay that was photographed in the exact position that Doug has drawn it - nothing about the bird has been altered and everything was drawn to scale. Each reference photograph was chosen because of the natural fit between the image of the bird and the concept being drawn. We truly hope that you will enjoy this Stirring Image as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.

   

• Our print process is unique in this business. We use a special paper that has clay embedded into it! The clay makes sure the ink stays where it is placed without spreading or bleeding. Our high-end Giclee printer is calibrated each day to ensure that every Stirring Image print retains 100% of the original drawing detail and colour. Stirring Images uses only Acid-Free print materials for the best reproduction quality and longevity.

  All images arrive ready to frame. This includes the image on a ridged foam backer and a white mat that adds a border (2 inches on every side) to the actual image size. You may choose to use this mat or your framer may substitute with mats of different colours.

  Properly framed, you will be able to hand these prints down for many generations and they will look as good as new!
